More Support for Your Motherhood Journey

Thankful is an understatement.
Happy Thanksgiving! This time of year always brings up big feelings of gratitude for me. I wake up grateful every day and try to start each morning with a moment of thankfulness for being given another day—but since starting Le Lolo, that gratitude has grown into something overwhelming in the best way.

This letter is to every mama, every giver, every supporter, and every person who has cheered Le Lolo on and followed our journey over the past year and a half. I am so thankful.
I am so thankful. This time of year always brings up big feelings of gratitude for me. I wake up grateful every day and try to start each morning with a moment of thankfulness, but since starting Le Lolo, that gratitude has grown into something overwhelming in the best way.
Never in a million years did I imagine this would become my job. That I’d be able to create beautiful accessories for new moms—women I understand, admire, and deeply care about—and that these products could make a real difference in someone’s postpartum journey. As most of you know, I almost didn’t start. I was scared. Scared of failing, scared of what people would think, scared to walk away from the career I had built. But after a whole lot of encouragement from my husband, I took the leap.
To my husband, Matt: the one who believes in me more than anyone on this earth. You push me to be great, you build me up when I’m feeling low, and you always listen when I’m unsure of myself or the decisions I’m making. You cheer me on, lift me up, and let me lean on you—every single time. Le Lolo would not exist without you.
To Shyanne, my Social Media Manager (and truly so much more): you are the heartbeat behind the scenes. You helped perfect our product line, shoot our content, pitch ideas, run our Instagram, plan giveaways, partner with influencers, create videos, send emails, build marketing plans…the list goes on and on. Without you, Le Lolo would not be half of what it is today.
To my kids-Grace, Max, and Bosley: you are my drive, my passion, and the reason Le Lolo exists. You’re the reason we’re making a difference in new moms’ lives and the reason we’re going to change the way postpartum care is approached for mothers everywhere. You push me to be great because when you grow up, I want you to be proud of me and look to me as an example that you too, can achieve anything you put your mind to. I want you to see what hard work looks like—and that even if you have a dream and no idea what you’re doing, you can still chase it and achieve it. I want you to be brave, strong, determined, and never give up, because if you believe in yourself, nothing else matters.
To you—our community: your support, your kindness, your shares, your messages, your purchases…they mean everything. Without you, Le Lolo wouldn’t be able to continue showing up for new moms every day. You are the heartbeat of this brand. You’re why we do it, who we do it for, and what keeps us going. Thank you for cheering us on from the very beginning. Your love and excitement for our products (and all the future ones!) mean more than you’ll ever know.
To every mom
Motherhood is hard. The days are long and sometimes feel never-ending. But remember—without moms, there would be nothing. Look around at your home: the little shoes, the drawings on the fridge, the dishes in the sink, the chaos and the magic…and know that without you, none of it would exist. Without you, there would be fewer routines, fewer traditions, fewer snuggles, fewer “I love you’s.” Moms shape the world. You turn tiny humans into people who show love, empathy, and kindness. And when you're thinking about what you’re grateful for this year, I hope you are at the top of that list. Gratitude in the thick of motherhood can be hard, but take a second, look around, and recognize the beauty you’ve created—because that’s what moms do. We create beauty.
This holiday season, no matter what phase of life you're in, I hope you can put yourself first. Look in the mirror, see the incredible mother you are, and tell yourself thank you. You are building a beautiful life for your family—one they’ll tell stories about to their children someday. And for that, be proud. Be grateful.
Sending all my love and gratitude to you this Thanksgiving,
-Courtney
